A vital component of this summer’s travels will be to do extensive field research in prominent environmental issues, from legal, economic, cultural, academic, and technological points of view.  I will be building networks of government officials, researchers, technologists, attorneys, scholars and field researchers around the country, who are at the forefront of environmental conservation, sustainability, energy development, and environmental disaster prevention/recovery.  So far, I have compiled a list of organizations and entities to contact and meet with throughout the country.  Please help me by contributing your ideas and any contacts you have whom I would benefit from speaking with. I will be “travelogging” these encounters and meetings, keeping you all up to date regarding my research.  Part of the goal of these meetings will be to inform my work, and the work of friends, family and colleagues to build an environmentally sustainable community, network, economy, and workforce.
